This Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) has been prepared to address the potential environmental impacts that could arise from the construction and operation of a solid waste treatment facility. The intended facility will be located in the city of Baalbek, planned to serve the inhabitants of Baalbek and Hermel Caza, Bekaa. Additionally, the EIA evaluates various alternative treatment technologies and presents technical criteria on which to base the selection of most suitable site and technology
